My wife Niki and I married in 2010. We have a beautiful daughter, Alaya, that we are so thankful for! We both love anything that involves athletics, most notably Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I grew up in the church and was able to be around my church’s youth group at an early age since my parents were youth deacons. I learned early what it meant to have an extended family that you could trust and who loved Christ. A key turning point in my life was losing my dad in April 2008. It has greatly tested my mom, my brother and me more than anything. But through it all, I am so proud of how my family continues to press on with the help of great friends and family. One of my favorite Bible verses is James 1:12. Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. I started working at The Hills Church in 2011. I grew up with a love for art and anything that allowed me to express my creativity. I graduated from Harding University in 2008 with a Graphic Design major and began by working freelance for a few years followed by a very boring city design job. My wife texted me one day at lunch about a job opening that she had heard about from a Hills member who went to her gym. I jumped on the opportunity and have loved working at a place where I can use my talents to help visualize the gospel in unique and creative ways. My hope for The Hills is to be bold in Christ and to continue to spread the gospel, equipping the church to be true Disciples of Christ.
