FAQ

Get ready for your visit to The Hills with a few extra details.

Who will be supervising my kids?

Your child’s safety is our top priority. Every volunteer is background-checked and passionate about investing in the next generation, with trained staff always present in each room to monitor and care for your children. Our goal is to create a secure environment where they feel valued and empowered to love God and others.

Where do I arrive and check in?

Families can enter through either:

  • The Main Entrance (Main Lobby)
  • The Next Gen Entrance located in the East parking lot

Signs and volunteers will help guide you to the right places, and our team will be glad to assist with check-in.

What will my kids do?

We believe learning about Jesus should be fun, engaging, and meaningful at every age. From infants through elementary students, our environments are thoughtfully designed to help children experience God’s love, build relationships, and grow in their faith in age-appropriate ways. Nursery care is available at every service time and elementary-aged kids are invited to join their families in the Worship Center for the first part of worship. Our kids ministry team will then guide them to their age-appropriate Bible Study Groups before the sermon begins.

Is the building accessible?

Yes. The renovated facility includes:

·     ADA-accessible entrances – MainEntrance  (Skillman St.) and Next Gen Entrance(Clements)

·     Accessible restrooms in both the MainLobby and Café

·     Reserved ADA seating throughout the worship center (identified where removable seats are located)

How many services will we have and at what time?

We will begin with one service at 10:00am. As our campus grows, this may change, but right now we’re excited to worship together at one service.

How long is the service?

Each service lasts approximately 75 minutes and includes:

·     Worship

·     A live-streamed message from one of our teaching ministers at the North Richland Hills Broadcast Campus (we occasionally have live preaching at all local campuses)

·     Moments of reflection, response, baptism and weekly communion

How will I know where to go?

We have volunteers available at every turn! Look for someone with a friendly smile and a black Dallas Hills shirt. They're here to help!

Where do I park?

Guest parking is available from both Skillman and Clements, in the FLC Parking Lot (or Main Parking Lot). As you get closer to the church building, you will see parking signs and helpful volunteers to guide you to your reserved parking spot. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to park, check in your kids, and find your seat.

Where is the new worship center located?

You can find our new worship center at 3014 Skillman St, Dallas, TX 75206. The main entrance is on the Skillman side, and families with kids can also enter through the Next Gen entrance in the east parking lot off Clements.

What should I wear?

We are casual around here. You will see jeans, shorts, dresses, and business casual attire. Wear something comfortable to you and come on in!
