Community Enrichment Center works to break the cylce of poverty and family violence. Food pantry volunteers sort, stock, select, clean and box food for incoming neighbors in need. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old.
Community Enrichment Center works to break the cycle of poverty and family violence. Proceeds from their resale shop directly support their programs and services. Volunteers serving in their resale shop greet and assist customers, do zoning and other retail tasks, organize inventory, and sanitize the facility. Volunteers ages 16 and younger must have an adult present.
Christ’s Haven for Children provides a healthy Christian home environment for kids. Volunteers “adopt” a cottage and develop a relationship with that family by doing something with/for them monthly. Examples of monthly activities include: ordering pizza for the family, cooking & dropping off a meal, providing movie or restaurant gift cards, reading to a child in the evening, help with housekeeping, assist with yard work. Volunteers determine the commitment length.
Christ’s Haven for Children provides a healthy Christian home environment for kids. Proceeds from their resale shop directly support kids in their ministry. Volunteers serving in their resale shop sort donations, move items to the store’s floor, price items and sanitize the facilities. Volunteers 14 years old and younger must have an adult present.
Christ’s Haven for Children provides a healthy Christian home environment for kids. Volunteers will help renovate a room at Christ’s Haven to create a dream space for the children they serve. Renovations will include painting, assembling furniture, staging the room etc. These rooms will reflect love, bring light, restore hope, renew trust and provide a sanctuary for these children.

Menders for the Master is a ministry of The Hills Church that completes basic home repairs for people in need. Home repairs include tasks such as electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome.

Mid-Cities Care Corps works to preserve independence of senior neighbors in Tarrant County. Volunteers help complete home repairs for senior neighbors including electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome.
Mid-Cities Care Corps works to preserve independence of senior neighbors in Tarrant County. Volunteers assist senior neighbors with general yard maintenance including mowing, raking, hedge trimming, cleaning flower beds, and bagging debris. Lawn mower can be provided upon request. Adopt-a-lawn option available.
Taste Project exists to feed people one community at a time. Kitchen team volunteers are responsible for ensuring the highest food quality by assisting with meal preparation. Meal preparation includes cleaning, chopping, and preparing raw ingredients. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to serve on this team.

Teen Life encourages and equips teenagers to face life’s challenges through support groups on school campuses. During this opportunity, you will Adopt A School Counselor at a campus with which Teen Life partners. On a monthly basis, you will encourage the school counselor to whom you have been assigned. You can do this in multiple ways: writing a note of encouragement, sending an enouraging email, dropping by the school with their favorite drink, dropping off a gift card, etc.

World Light Mission exists to serve others with our gifts while sharing our faith and shining God’s love into the world. Volunteers will distribute boxes of produce to under-resourced families. Distribution occurs at a local apartment complex or through home delivery.
