Kelly Warnock

Elementary Kids Director

Nothing has molded my faith more than having children of my own. Loving someone more than I loved myself convicted me of the need to live a better life. There was a hole in my soul that, quite frankly, I was unaware of until I got a taste of the Lord at this church. I felt a true calling to connect my greatest blessings, my children, to something more than I could ever offer on my own.

If I had to pick my favorite Bible passage, it would be Isaiah 43:1-2. … Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. That verse declares who owns me, who protects me, and who loves me. It reminds me that there is only One, THE ONE, who knows the number of my days and what those days will hold. There’s no doubt there will be hard days ahead but I rest in the assurance I am never alone. I am His!

I began working at The Hills Church as the Elementary Director. Prior to that, I’d worked at Young Children’s World for five years and was a stay-at-home mom while handling mortgage services.

My hope for The Hills is that we always have the eyes to see those around us and within us. We’re all on a path. None of us has arrived to full knowledge of the Lord. My hope is that we never compare ourselves to other churches, but boldly become the authentic church the Lord has created us to be. My prayer is that we never stop learning, never stop striving, never stop working to make the Lord look good. I pray His radiance shines on our faces.
