Jeff Gary

I’ve been married to my best friend, Natalie, for over 16 years and we have an awesome tribe of boys, Hudson, Brewer, and our twin boys Sawyer and Silas. My faith has been shaped by past youth ministers and my parents who never gave up on me regardless of my circumstances. They showed me, in the flesh, a God who loved me first and gave his Son for me. Love that loved me first is the reason I have hope and a passion to share that hope with students and remind them how CRAZY God is about ALL of us! My favorite verse is Hebrews 4:15 and has been since the day I first discovered it in high school. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are — yet he did not sin. This verse reminds me that God knows EXACTLY what we go through. He came down in the flesh, walked this earth and can sympathize with our weaknesses.  I began working at The Hills in 2011. I was volunteering in the student ministry, which led to me being hired as the Student Minister at the Southlake Campus. I am still beyond thrilled that I work at a church that I would choose to go to, even if I was not employed there.  My hope for The Hills Church is that we continue to love and value people first and that we continue to be a beautiful example of the hands and feet of Jesus, locally and around the world.
