Debbie Talley

I have been a member here since 1979. This church has been a safe haven for me since the beginning and I am so thankful that God brought me here. It is here that I learned about God’s grace and his love for me.

One of my favorite Bible verses is Romans 12:12, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer”. This verse guides my life through difficult times when I don’t know what to do. There is always hope as long as Jesus is our guide and we reach out to him through faithful prayer. It may not be earthly hope, but eternal hope is what we strive for.

I started working at The Hills Church in 2006 after 20 years as a stay-at-home mom. This has been a wonderful place to work with a great group of people. I am truly blessed to be able to work here.

I hope that The Hills will be a welcoming place for those who come here and that we will be always seeking God’s will in everything that we do.
