Pure Desire Ministries began over 20 years ago as Dr. Ted Roberts recognized the pervasiveness of sexual struggle in the church. The pat answers of the past only gave men and women a message of “try harder” which kept them isolated in their sin and shame. He and a professional staff, developed a course that is Biblically sound, clinically based, and highly successful at creating lasting change.
The work begins with the award-winning Conquer Series. This 10 week course serves as an on-ramp for people in the church to understand the true nature of sexual addiction, and to seek healing in a grace-filled, redemptive way.
The program continues with The Seven Pillars of Freedom, a 29 lesson program designed to more fully explore the nature of addiction, the way God intends His people to fight against the powers that want to defeat us and what that freedom will look like.
This program does require a serious application of effort, a willingness to be vulnerable and open with your fellow classmates and a measure of dedication to allow the Holy Spirit turn you into the warrior that God intended.
Workbook materials can be purchased from www.puredesire.org ($50)
