Guidelines
Schedule your consult appointmentThank you for participating with us to steward the Event Closet at The Hills Church. Please review the guidelines below before scheduling your consult appointment.

Volunteer-Led Ministry
The Event Closet is a volunteer-led ministry, and responses may take a few days.

Open Tuesdays & Wednesdays
The closet is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (as the ministry leader's calendar allows)

Limited Monthly Bookings
The closet has limited monthly bookings. Any holiday events are encouraged to book well in advance.

Seasonal Closures
The closet is closed from mid-December to mid-January.
The closet is closed for the month of July.
How it Works

Schedule a Consult
Consult and Pick-Up appointments are available by appointment only on Wednesdays.

Pick Up Items
Closet use is a partnership between the Event Closet Team and the event host.

Return Items
All items (except linens) must be returned on the Tuesday or Wednesday following your event.

Inventory Check-In
Borrowers are expected to assist with inventory during the return appointment.
Item Care Expectations
before returning the items, please ensure the following:

All dishware and tableware are cleaned.

Silver items are polished.

Candleholders are free of melted wax.

Items remian unaltered and fully reassembled.

Any damaged items are repaired before return whenever possible.

The borrower is responsible for the replacement or repair cost of any broken, damaged, stained, or missing items. Please verify the quality and condition of items before leaving the Event Closet.
Linen Returns
All linens must be professionally dry-cleaned before returning.
Linen return appointments will be scheduled at the time of your item return appointment.

Return Appointment Expectations

Borrowers are expected to assist with inventory during the return appointment.

Depending on the size of your order, this process may take 1-2 hours.

Large orders may require an additional helper during check-in.

Your appointment is complete once all items have been checked back into inventory.
