Keller Campus

The Hills Church began over 50 years ago with one location in Richland Hills, Texas. Now, we are one church in three locations: North Richland Hills, Southlake, and West Fort Worth. Our Southlake Campus opened in January 2011, and has been a place where strangers become friends, and friends became family. While this campus has served us well, God presented us with an opportunity to move to a new location in the Fall of 2020. We purchased a building and property at 2525 Florence Rd in Keller and began a renovation and expansion project. Through God’s provision, the work will be completed debt free. We are so excited to open the doors of The Hills Church Keller Campus on Sunday, August 21! Whether you’ve been following Jesus for a long time, or don’t even know who He is, you are welcome at The Hills. We are not a church made up of people that claim to have all the answers or to have it all together. It is our hope to be patient and gracious with one another as we walk together and explore what it means to be more like Jesus. Join us as we continue pursuing what God has called us to as a church – making and growing followers of Jesus!

FAQs

You've got questions, we've got answers!

Opening day is August 21! We hope you will join us for one of our two services. It’s going to be a great day!

9:00 and 10:45am

The facility is up to the standard of accessibility required by the city of Keller. From the parking lot to the playscape we’ve tried to think of everything to help make access as easy as possible for our friends and neighbors who have mobility challenges. If we’ve missed anything, please don’t hesitate to let us know how we can assist you!

You know that feeling when you walk into a coffee shop and everyone knows each other? The baristas know your order? We hope our new coffee shop (called The Porch) will be just that! It will be open on Sunday mornings. As a bonus, all first-time guests will get a free drink. How fun is that? And, for every drip cup of coffee purchased at The Porch, $.25 will go towards our annual Harvest Offering.

Our new worship center was designed with community in mind. We’ve heard from you over and over again that the intimate feel of the worship center at our Southlake Campus has generated friendships and sparked connections. Thus, our new worship center will seat more than our current one, but not astronomically more, so that we can continue to have our “small church” feel. Additionally, it will have fixed theater seating and improved acoustics! It’s a beautiful space. You’re going to love it!

The fact that we’re crazy about kids is reflected in our new building. From the classroom spaces to our indoor and outdoor playgrounds, it’s easy to see we’re serious about having fun with kids. Our goal has always been to make learning about Jesus fun and engaging at every age level. This will continue in our new building – and you’ll notice we’ve taken extra steps to ensure a safe and secure kids area. Our Bible Study Groups will be led each week by trained volunteers in small and large group settings. Our desire is for there to be authentic, relational connections made each week between kids and volunteers. Everything we do on Sunday mornings is centered around planting seeds of truth in the hearts of our kids to make and grow followers of Jesus.

Yes! We’re thrilled to have space in our new building for a Special Needs classroom with a special outside entrance. This will include sensory-friendly options for kids along with a team of volunteers trained to be one-on-one ‘velcro buddies’ for kids able to participate in Bible Study Groups.

In Student Ministry, everything revolves around the word ‘discipleship.’ On Sunday mornings, our 6th-12th graders are invited to worship at one of our two services. We have an opportunity for 6th-8th graders to join a Bible Study Group during our 9:00am service when they are dismissed during our sermon. In addition, we believe that significant growth and development happens when we serve others, so we encourage our students to sign up to serve on one of our volunteer teams. Practically, this means our students serve in the same roles as adults – Home Teams, Kids Ministry, Production, Worship, etc. On Wednesday nights, students are invited back for The Gathering. We begin with games and concessions at 6:00pm, head to worship and teaching, and then break into Student Groups for discussion and community building until 8:15pm. It’s a don’t miss event every week!

Our parking team will direct you to the closest available spot. We reserve parking spots for our first time guests, so if you’re new to The Hills Church, be sure to let us know by flashing your lights! Once you’re parked, be sure to look for our blue tent so we can connect with you!

Our services last about 70 minutes and include music and a live streamed message on video from our broadcast campus in North Richland Hills from one of our teaching ministers.

You’ll see people in anything from jeans to more formal attire so wear whatever you feel comfortable in and you’ll fit right in.
